What we collect
- Account info: Google profile (name, email, avatar) if you link Google, or a device ID for anonymous accounts
- Distribution data: links you submit, platform metadata, timestamps
- Claw data: XP, streaks, hunger, molt history, life stage
- Revenue data: amounts and notes you voluntarily log
- Email address: only if you provide it for the weekly digest
What we don't collect
- We don't use third-party analytics or tracking pixels
- We don't sell or share your personal data with advertisers
- We don't read the content of the pages you link — only the URL and basic metadata
How we use your data
- To run the service: calculate XP, manage your claw, track streaks
- To send weekly digest emails (opt-in only)
- To display public profiles and leaderboards (opt-in only)
- To generate aggregated, anonymous statistics
Cookies
We use a lightweight authentication cookie (ftc_auth) to keep you logged in. No third-party cookies. No tracking cookies.
Data storage
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (US). Connections are encrypted in transit. Passwords are never stored — we use Google OAuth or anonymous device-based auth.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at our contact page. We'll process deletion requests within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
